What is the K-12 Program?

The K to 12 Program includes Kindergarten and 12 years of basic education (six years of primary education, four years of Junior High School, and two years of Senior High School [SHS]) to allow for adequate time for concept and skill mastery, to develop lifelong learners, and to prepare graduates for tertiary education, middle-level skill development, employment, and entrepreneurship.

  On January 30 and 31, 2023, the National Achievement Test for Grade 12 (NATG12) for the academic year 2022–2023 will be given.
